Plugin will re-calculate all user's active items and correct the potentially wrong stats numbers in case you have experienced this issue. Additionally, it will add a new 'Total Items' column in Admin Dashboard > Users menu.

WHAT DOES THIS PLUGIN DO ?

Since version 1.x

Plugin will correct erroneous counter values for i_items fields FROM t_user table INSIDE database. It operates fully automatic, without any settings/config page. By default, it runs on a daily cron basis, but you can change 'cron_daily' with some alternatives (check plugin's index.php file). Please note that only enabled active non-spam non-expired items are counted.

Since version 2.x

Plugin was rebranded to a simple 'User Items Counter', since now it also comes with expanded feature for counting actual number of total items per each user regardless of their state (inactive, spam, blocked...). This is an important and invaluable insight for admins.

DO I NEED THIS PLUGIN ?

Yes, version 1.x was just a fix for users who experienced the issue with erroneous stats, however, since version 2.x adds additional functionality and helps in user administration, it is definitely useful to have it.

If you use 'User Items Counter Fix' plugin, you have to uninstall it first, than download and unzip the new 'User Items Counter' plugin and perform a regular install. Two plugins are completely separated, however, you only need later (old functionality is already covered by the newer one).

TERMS OF USE

  • Plugin is compatible with Osclass 3.1.1 and up
  • Backup your database before installation

This plugin would not be possible without great help from other users. Thanks to member teseo for helping with query function optimization, and Carlos Garcia for some additional suggestions.
