Hi,
I want to start a new Osclass for my city. I'm totally confused on what to use and what not. I want a stable version and with some free good theme and probably a few plugins (also free).
Since i have no idea how my project will go, i do not want to invest any money.
I would appreciate any guidance related to the above.

For your Osclass installation use Osclass 3.9 from this forum or from here if you wish (it is the same):

Do not use any other release or version.
For your free theme i suggest OsclassWizards theme. If you care for GDPR and you plan to use GDPR free plugin, then install OsclassWizards 2.04. Great version doesn't work well with GDPR plugin. If you do not care for GDPR, then use OsclassWizards 2.06 (latest).
Osclass 3.9 is more-or-less compatible with plugins and also some fixes are available.
Gather your needed files and go ahead. Let us know if you need something more.

I do care for GDPR since i'm located in Europe. I have downloaded everything you suggested and i plan to install during the weekend.

Osclass does have any filters for ads. You may want to try the free Antispam plugin. Several other features also are included, like duplicate ads check.
Keep in mind that the plugin works right with 3.9 and that's it. It doesn't work with any greater version. And from what i have seen it won't be updated ever.
