@@johannes-de-sacrobosco (you had to pick the most difficult alias dude),
You gave me an article about Docket cache, that i publiced:
https://www.valueweb.gr/docket-cache-wordpress-object-cache-accelerator/
I tried it here, on this site, after removing the page caching plugin we used. While there have been no errors or anything, i noticed some issues with the forum functions. Wrong options selected for example, trying to move or split a topic.
I didn't tested it more, since clearly something was wrong and wpForo (forums plugin) has his own ecosystem, with databases and caching etc etc. And from what i saw there is no way for Docket cache to exclude anything.
So, i would consider it a bit risky to use it. What do you think?
Hi there !
I'm just using that plugin in my blog, i have no forums. I haven't seen anything strange untill now. But wpForo plugin is a peculiar plugin, so you better not use it.
Did you see any speed improvements using Docket cache? You measured your performance with GT Metrix or WebPageTest.org or something?
Honestly i can't tell, since i didn't do any speed tests. But i think my Wordpress is more ... how to word it .... responsive. More sparky ...
@editor Do you run and USE any other OBJECT caching server-wide? Redis? MemCacheD or whatever?
@johannes-de-sacrobosco Actually i do run and USE Redis.
@editor Ok, then probably you shouldn't use any Docket cache along with Redis.
Why don't you ask at their Wordpress.org forum?
