SeznamBot: One of the MOST Annoying Bots

SeznamBot crawler is not a malicious bot. It is a crazy, annoying, not so clever and apparently poorly programmed bot/scraper accessing our pages all day and night.

SeznamBot is operated from Czech Republic. Checking our Analytics stats for the last 2 years, we got 0.01% of traffic from Czech Republic. This happens because our content is in English and in that country most people do not speak English (even at tourist areas).

While a 403 (access denied) is served to that crazy bot, it doesn’t stop and goes on knocking our door, putting cpu and db excess load.

I find it strange that abuseipdb.com considers this bot to be legitimate and has it on the whitelist of IPs, despite the reports from webmasters.

We tried to email them about the issue but we never got any reply.
