Protect your Site: Digital Ocean IPs you MUST BLOCK !

Digital Ocean is the n1 source of attacks daily.

Here are the IPs you MUST Block to prevent attacks from Digital Ocean IPs worldwide:

Notes:

If you have an option to block using “hostname“, you can block even more:

cloudwaysapps.com (aka Digital Ocean) – You can block it using “*cloudwaysapps.com*” as “hostname”
Block “*ocean*” as “hostname“

If you have the capability to BLOCK using ASNs (autonomous system number), here is what you should ban:

AS14061 – DigitalOcean, LLC

AS62567 – DigitalOcean, LLC

Notice: CIDR (IP Ranges) & ASNs provided above, are not by any means complete. More Data is added when some kind of attack is logged.

How can we block something using the “hostname” as you suggest?

A universal solution is CIDRAM script. For WordPress many plugins exist, like Wordfence Advanced Blocking.
