ColoCrossing: Nothing More Than A Server Spam Farm

ColoCrossing along with Leaseweb are the Kings of Proxies, used mostly for spam via forms or profiles.

Hundreds of hits from proxies hosted at ColoCrossing and a lot of forms spam. Maybe more than 5.000 hits per day are eating our bandwidth (we don’t care) but also our server resources, so we have to use Cpanel to block them.

If you have any kind of firewall or WAF (WordPress) or if you use Cloudflare, you can block AS36352 ASN easily.

If you can’t block using ASNs, use Cpanel IP Block or directly edit your .htaccess file to block the following:

ColoCrossing IP Ranges (CIDR) to Block:

192.3.0.0/16

23.94.0.0/15

172.245.0.0/16

107.172.0.0/14

198.46.128.0/17

198.144.176.0/20

192.227.128.0/17
